If you are looking to have your engagement portraits done to announce your upcoming wedding, save the date cards, newspaper announcement or just portraits to send to your family or give to them as a thoughtful Christmas gift, then give me a call.
I am available for weddings or civil unions outside of Addison County (Burlington, Rutland, Montpelier, Colchester, Essex, South Burlington, Williston) I can travel to you for an on location portrait session.
I offer a photojournalistic approach to document your special day along with traditional portraits. I will capture the special moments at your wedding reception or civil union reception.
For the bride, I offer a pre-wedding sitting at my studio or on location in your dress. Maybe you have heard of “trash the dress” sittings for after the wedding? All of this is possible when you hire Heather Hamilton Photography.
If you need help with your wedding or civil union planning, I can direct you to many wonderful local vendors (caterers, cake bakers, florists, DJ’s, Limo Service, Make-up artists, hair salons, bridal dress shops).
I have packages ranging from the sweet and simple to the more extravagant full day, multiple photographer event.

Eternity Package
This package is for the large wedding/civil union- multiple attendants/groomsmen, formal ceremony, large reception. Photojournalistic style.
*10 hours of coverage – usually starting about 2 hours prior to the wedding for the pre-ceremony preparation.
Over 500 images
Online photo viewing- password protected.
Black & White, Sepia, skin softening/enhancing, special effects
CD of all of your images at FULL resolution so that you can print your photo’s when you want and where you want - I will sign a release of copyright so that you have full rights to your photos.
1 DVD slideshow of your images- additional DVD’s can be purchased to share with family & friends
Cherish Package
This package is for the small intimate wedding/civil union – less than 50 guests, small wedding party. Photojournalistic style.
*6-8 hours of coverage – usually starting 2 hours prior to the service for pre-ceremony preparation
Over 350 images
Online photo viewing- password protected
Black & White, Sepia, skin softening/enhancing, special effects
CD of all of your images at FULL resolution so that you can print your photo’s when you want and where you want - I will sign a release of copyright so that you have full rights to your photos.
1 DVD slideshow of your images- additional DVD’s can be purchased to share with family & friends.
*If your wedding runs over I will stay until all of your important (father/daughter dance, first dance, cutting of the cake, throwing of the bouquet, ect) images have been captured. The last thing I want you to worry about is that your photographer is going to leave and you won’t get all the images you want!
Additional time – ask me about my price per hour
10% discount for off peak weddings (November-May)
10% discount for military
No mileage charge within 50 miles of New Haven, VT, outside of this area there is an additional charge per hour of driving. If you are outside of Vermont, there is a lodging charge of $150 per night.
An engagement session can be purchased at a reduced price when you book your wedding with me.
Future sessions after your wedding will be discounted at 10%, this includes portrait sessions with your children.
I require a 50% non refundable deposit to hold your date, the balance will be due 1 week prior to your wedding.
Cash, check and money order are accepted.
